This is the second time we’ve needed Ilon’s expert help. The first time our AC went out during a heat wave; this time our upstairs heat went out on a freezing day. Both times Ilon was on the job in a very timely manner. He diagnosed and fixed the problem and we were back to comfort in a short time. He is expert, professional and very pleasant to deal with. Our heating stopped working in the middle of the night on a very cold night. We called and Elan showed up within 15m and fixed the problem immediately. We also hired Around The Clock to maintain our heating system, install smart home heating controls, and replace our air conditioner. Ilan is the most knowledgeable person I have encountered in HVAC. I particularly had a system that 5 other companies and individuals could not fix. Ilan was the only person who could solve the problem. He is also a NEST pro so if you would like to switch to modern systems he can help you and you get additional 4 years of warranty. Finally, he is honest he chose to fix and A/C unit rather than replacing it. That is a very rare commodity among HVAC folks. Outdoor temperature reached 75 degrees and needed AC for first time this season. My compressor didn’t go on. Called Ilan on a Saturday at 5 PM he was at my house by 530 - talk about being available around the clock like the name of his company. Fixed it within 20 mins. Very reliable and efficient. He also is genuine ans honest and told me I didn’t need to professionally clean my compressor (which I usually do each season), rather just spray it with my garden hose and save money. Thanks Ilan ! I called a Around-the-Clock on a Sunday morning when we woke up to a malfunctioning furnace. They offered to come by noon and by one the furnace was fully functional. They took the time to explain what had been causing the problem, how they would rectify it, and why the problem would not happen again (it had happened a few times in the past and other companies had solved the issue by what now appear to have been temporary solutions.) I have 2 experiences with Ilan, both wonderful. Just this morning I noticed I had no heat. I called him , and he came over the same day. He knew just what the problem was and fixed it very quickly. But here is the BEST ONE. About 10 years ago my entire air conditioning and gas heat went totally dead. I thought for sure it was a $20,000 job. OMG! Called on Sunday afternoon and they were here 7.45 am Monday morning (15 minutes before their scheduled time!) and in the middle of a 7 day 90+ heatwave! I thought I would have to wait at least a week for an appt but it was immediate! They came, they fixed, they left and all without breaking the bank! Fantastic service! My central air conditioner stopped running during a 94 degree day. It was 84 degrees in my house when I got home. Not only did I actually get someone on the phone when I called at 6:30pm, but they were at my house within an hour of calling. Price was reasonable. What a lifesaver!! My ac broke over the weekend with the outdoor temps hitting 95 degrees. We called them on Sunday morning at 8 AM and they were there before 9. They diagnosed and fixed the problem which was a blown transformer and we were fully operational by 10. They were fairly priced and didn't take advantage of the fact that they were there on a Sunday morning. Ilan is a true professional. We had no AC on a very warm day during the summer and Ilan came to our rescue almost right away. He was thorough and explained how various parts of the system worked, more intelligently than many servicemen I've interacted with. Fortunately, we didn't need a new compressor, he was able to fix the problem quickly and effectively. Ilan was very honest and reliable and charged a very nice and fare rate for his service.
